Quesition:
Hi, I just received ink from you (ordered on Sun 8 Jan 2012). Thanks for the
prompt delivery. I have some questions.
The ink is for a canon printer (ie.CLI-226 cyan for example) with chip
compatible ink cartridges. I recieved the 12 cartridges I ordered along with
5 chips in a plastic bag.
1) Am I supposed to try to install the chip on the cartridge before I
install it into the printer?
2) There is no number that corresponds to the ink # on the chip itself (I
tried with a magnifying glass too!) All the chips have the same # but none
match up to the list of cartridges that was in the little bag the chips came
in.
3) If I have to insert the chip – I received 5 chips – for 12 ink
cartridges. Am I supposed to reuse them when a cartridge is finished?
4) how do I go about installing the chip?! (no instructions provided)
I haven’t yet tried to install them in the printer as I figure I need to do
something with the chip first.
please advise
Answer:
On the copper contact side of the chip, there is a small number near a coner. Please match this number with different color. The chip is resuable.
